CHURCH GIVING
We've made giving simple. You can now support our work in the community by contributing in one of several ways:
• via e-transfer, using donation.gpuc@gmail.com - if it’s not for general operations, please note the purpose of the donation in the memo box
• via a cheque, mailed to GPUC, 407 Cumberland Ave. S. Saskatoon, SK S7H 2L3 - if it’s not for general operations, please note the purpose of the donation on the memo line
• via CanadaHelps, which will automatically email you a tax receipt - please click the button below (We recommend that large donations be sent by e-transfer or cheque as CanadaHelps will keep 3.75% of your one-time donation and 3.5% of monthly donations.)
Thank you for whatever contribution you make!
MEMORIAL DONATIONS: People often donate to Grosvenor in memory of a loved one. These contributions do not go into our general revenues, but rather are held for very special and important initiatives that must be selected through a motion of Church Council. These donations may be made using our CanadaHelps page (which asks for the name of the memorialized person) or by sending a cheque to our office.
MISSION & SERVICE: The United Church of Canada's Mission and Service Fund is our way of pooling our national resources to support ongoing ministries, but is especially important during times of crisis. Please donate to responsive and ongoing projects here.
OUR CHURCH COUNCIL
Our Church Council meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month from September through June. If there's something you would like to present to Council, please speak with our current Chair (Diane Phillips) about the best way to get on the agenda, which is usually prepared several days before the meeting. For some matters, it may be that a Committee can help bring your idea to Council in the most efficient way.
We welcome any members or adherents who would like to attend simply to observe the Council meeting, which usually runs from 7:00 - 9:00 PM in the Grace Land room (currently via Zoom). You’ll find our Council meetings to be friendly and casual, despite following Bourinot’s Rules of Order!
OUR STAFF
Grosvenor is blessed with a great team of professional, friendly people who help to make our church the "home" it is. If you're new, or if you just haven't met our staff yet, we welcome you to introduce yourself, and don't hesitate to ask for information about any aspect of church life. (You can ask congregation members, too, of course!)
